ALPHABETICAL BRAIN® VOCABULARY
MOTOR PATHWAY IN BRAINSTEM
August 31, 2022
MOTOR PATHWAY = This neuronal pathway in your BRAINSTEM sends biochemical signals in one direction from your brain to body's central nervous system to the rest of your body. This gives you the power to consciously activate your nervous system to move your entire body; it can also activate your sympathetic nervous system.
These pathways protect the overall activation of your body's nervous system, which is now called your CONNECTOME by brain scientists who are discovering the precise operation of this nano-microscopic neuronal network of biochemical signals.
These biochemical signals can be activated either consciously or unconsciously by your prefrontal cortex (known as your EXECUTIVE CONTROL SYSTEM) and your LIMBIC SYSTEM (known as your "emotional brain").
You can learn to control this intrinsic part of your mental force, which is the essential part of your nervous system that controls your muscles and therefore your ability to move. Because of your motor pathway, you can make new habits to achieve new goals.
