Peter Whybrow has written one of the newest and most important brain science books (since it describes the latest brain knowledge in accessible language) and two other brain-related psychology books, which should be read and studied throughout the Humanist Galaxy.
They are called THE WELL-TUNED BRAIN: Neuroscience and the Life Well Lived published by W.W. Norton, 2015 (i-xiv, 380 pages); A MOOD APART: Depression, Mania, and Other Afflictions of the Self originally published in 1997 and updated in 2015 by Basic Books (408 pages); and AMERICAN MANIA: When More is Not Enough published by W. W. Norton, reprint edition 2006 (368 pages). The outline and reviews of the third book will be online soon.
