Note: 
David Eagleman has written many important books about the new brain science, which should be read and discussed throughout the Humanist Galaxy. In addition, Eagleman was the presenter of the six-part PBS TV series, The Brain, which was based upon his book, The Brain: The Story of You.
  
Eagleman is a neuroscientist who specializes in brain plasticity, time perception, synesthesia, and the intersection of science with social policy, and has authored over 90 scientific publications and holds several patents. Of his eight books, several were international bestsellers. Also he wrote the novel, Sum.
