Frans deWaal is The New York Times best-selling author and primatologist who has been exploring the world of animal and human emotions for four decades. His new book, Mama's Last Hug was published by W. W. Norton in 2019 with 324 pages. It explores the fascinating emotional lives of many kinds of animals and compares their similarities to human beings.
