Note: Patricia Daniels wrote a book with a foreword by Todd B. Kashdan, called MIND: A scientific guide to who you are, how you got that way, and how to make the most of it. It was published by National Geographic in 2015 (302 pages).

The content and format are excellent for family discussions about the brain. All children can benefit from the dramatic pictures and explanations of brain parts and mind functions, especially with the guidance of their parents or teachers translating some ideas with the help of the Alphabetical Brain™ Vocabulary website.

The large format of the book is suitable for storytimes at home or in classrooms. It should be read and discussed throughout the Humanist Galaxy.
