Note:
M.R. Bennett and P.M.S.Hacker have written a highly acclaimed book analyzing the importance of the new brain science from the wide intellectual points of view of modern psychology and philosophy. The book, THE PHILOSOPHICAL FOUNDATIONS OF NEUROSCIENCE, was published in 2003. It explains the significance of neuroscience and also criticizes many famous brain researchers who are considered pioneering experts in the history of brain science who believe that the brain and the mind are two separate realities.
Since it provides a unique solid foundation for evaluating the status of brain science, it should be read and discussed throughout the Humanist Galaxy.
